Mobile Interactive Group (MIG), the UK's fastest growing privately owned technology company has announced the appointment of industry visionary, James Booth, as senior advisor on the Group's digital media and mobile advertising strategy across its key products and services.

James will provide top level consultancy to all MIG Group companies enabling them to stay at the forefront of emerging digital technology trends. Tangozebra was sold to DoubleClick in 2007.

James Booth said: "Each year, I am asked whether this is the year of mobile. I am happy to say that 2009 will be that year and of all the businesses operating in this incredibly exciting space, MIG is the one to watch. I find the challenges faced by brands when considering mobile marketing fascinating; increasingly mobile integration crosses my path in connection with cross-media content activity. I am very much looking forward to joining the MIG Advisory Board to better understand the current range of capabilities and to challenge and explore where these might head."

Barry Houlihan, CEO at MIG said: "I am delighted that James has joined our growing advisor team. 2009 is all about innovation for the MIG Group and James has fabulous credentials having pioneered digital marketing solutions with Tangozebra. His insight will be invaluable especially to some of our emerging companies such as 4th Screen advertising and Jigsaw."
