New multi million pound facilities will support continued rapid growth in 2009
Mobile Interactive Group (MIG), the UK's fastest growing privately owned technology company has announced the opening of two new development centres in the UK to support ambitious growth plans in 2009.
The new London development centre, based in Waterloo, will continue to focus on core mobile messaging and operator grade platform development. As the largest mobile interactive business in the UK, MIG has established a strong reputation in this field already and plans to invest further in this area over the coming 12 months.
The new Devon facilities will focus more towards R&D for the emerging businesses in the group, particularly New Toy (www.newtoylondon.com) and Jigsaw (www.digital-jigsaw.com), the company's fast growing experiential and digital solutions agencies.
MIG's decision to invest in these new facilities was a direct response to meet, and exceed, the needs of its ever increasing client base and to ensure that the company is providing cutting edge proprietary technology to its demanding customer base.
In early 2009, MIG plans to announce the launch of two new companies within the group and a host of new technologies for the marketplace.
Marcus Kern, Group CTO, Mobile Interactive Group said, "As the fastest growing privately owned technology company in the UK it is hugely important we invest in a highly skilled and locally managed development resource. Our incredible growth is down to the fact we build platforms that are robust, scalable and reliable. MIG has reached an exciting stage in our development where we are now able to invest heavily in brand new development facilities, and more highly skilled people in preparation for the next phase of continued growth."
Steve King, Technical Director, Jigsaw said, "We are delighted to announce the opening of the facilities in Devon. Our new premises will accommodate up to 40 highly skilled I.T. professionals focused primarily on developing new and emerging digital, and device based applications and technologies for our partners.
"We felt it was important to have a separate R&D facility in order to dedicate resource to developing new platforms built for mass market high value consumer interaction. It's a really exciting time for us and we plan to announce the launch of our first major new digital platform in the New Year."
Some of MIG's group current client base includes ITV, FIVE, FremantleMedia, Flirtomatic, Pepsico (Walkers), H3G, Honda, Citroen, O2, Fitness First, Anheuser-Busch, Sony BMG and Virgin Media.
