Text Donations raise £7.8 million for Red Nose Day
This year an extraordinary £7.8 million was raised for Red Nose Day through £1 and £5 text donations - contributing to the incredible £59.2 million raised so far. It was the first time the public had been able to text knowing that every penny would go to Comic Relief, thanks to mobile operators waiving their usual fees and the Treasury confirming that because of this no VAT will be charged on these donations. read more

Saint at RKCR/Y&R launch pioneering viral mobile application for Home Office Anti Knife Crime Campaign
Saint at RKCR/Y&R and Mobile Interactive Group (MIG) have created a ground-breaking viral mobile application for the Home Office's 'It Doesn't Have To Happen' anti-knife crime campaign which enables users to play then, uniquely, send on to their friends. 'Pocket Beatz' consists of a mobile music studio where users can play a range of beats, synths and loops to create mini tracks which can be recorded and played back. read more

Walkers team up with O2 UK to offer largest ever free SMS vote for 'Do Us a Favour' campaign
Walkers and O2 today announce a key marketing collaboration, which has enabled Walkers to offer consumers the largest-ever completely free SMS vote for the voting stage of its 'Do us a flavour' campaign. For the first time all consumers in the UK and Ireland - irrespective of which mobile phone network they use - will have the opportunity to benefit from one free SMS vote per day until the voting phase closes on 1st May 2009. read more
